- Motic BA310
The first-generation models - BA310 (binocular and trinocular), BA310LED, BA310 Digital - are the stands the CCIS EF-N Plan objectives were developed for; the manufacturer introduces them explicitly as a newly designed generation of plan achromats for the BA310. Factory set: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 40x/0.65 (spring-loaded), 100x/1.25 (spring-loaded, oil), field number 20, reversed quadruple or quintuple nosepiece.
The later-generation models - BA310E (Elite) and related versions - carry CCIS EC Plan Achromat objectives. A separate branch of the series are the specialised variants: the BA310POL microscope for polarisation, with strain-free EC Plan objectives, and the BA310MET microscope for metallurgical work, with LM Plan objectives for reflected light. These two do NOT use the standard biological objectives and must not be mixed up when selecting parts.
